JCV cooperates with and is supported by Nyenrode Business University

Nyenrode Business University Amsterdam is the University that JCV is connected to.

The Jongste Compagnie van Verre is the official student association of Nyenrode Business University Amsterdam. The JCV was founded by three Nyenrode Amsterdam students in 2011, not long after the inception of Nyenrode's Amsterdam campus. JCV was spawned out of the need of students to do more than follow the curriculum and become more cohesive as a cohort. Likewise, to our counterparts in Breukelen, we strive to adhere to Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Stewardship. Our collaboration with Nyenrode Amsterdam is a continuous representation of these values. It is why the JCV can cater so delicately to the exact needs of the students of Nyenrode Amsterdam.

The goal of the JCV is to make members feel free to take leadership of their time at Nyenrode. Create their events, develop new and innovative ideas, and, most importantly, help each other grow to become more complete individuals.

Together with Nyenrode Amsterdam, we complete the triangle of the student becoming a young professional by learning, performing, and innovating.

IGC

As of 2021, we proudly announce our partnership with the IGC (Koninklijke Industrieele Groote Club). The current president of the IGC is a Nyenrode Alumni and has helped the association to create this beautiful partnership. The IGC lies at the city's heart, providing a spectacular view of Dam Square. Within this partnership, the IGC provides the JCV opportunities to facilitate business meetings, breakfast sessions, networking opportunities, and many more.

Tom's Team

With our team, we aim to increase the awareness of the mental and physical health of students. 97% of students experience stress mainly due to the study pressure. We make sure we teach students skills that reduce these stress levels. Stress is not caused by doing too many things but by a lack of overview.

Therefore, we help students with scientifically proven methods to create overview and focus, teach them how to learn more in less time and take better care of themselves during stressful periods. These skills will benefit them not only in their academics but also in their professional career.
